Dr. Cho Flores grew up in South Korea until her family moved to California when she was a teenager. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science at California Polytechnic University, Pomona. Then she received her Doctorate degree in Veterinary Medicine from University of California, Davis in 2012. Upon graduating from her veterinary school, she pursued a year-long rotating internship at California Veterinary Specialists to advance her knowledge in emergency, Internal medicine, surgery, and oncology. She pursued an advanced training in abdominal ultrasound and loves to utilize this diagnostic tool when necessary. After practicing in California for nearly 10 years, she moved to Virginia for a new opportunity. She loves being a general practitioner and she feels very fortunate to be given an opportunity to study what she loves and serve the community by helping pets and their people.

When Dr. Flores is not at work, she spends her time with her human and animal family, trying new foods, exploring many parts of Virginia, and making bar soaps.
