Amanda is one of our groomers here at AMCC. She joined our team in 2021 and has worked with animals since she was young; helping her dad and step-mom at their home based boarding facility and grooming salon over summer breaks. She started grooming in 2014 and is certified in both dog and cat grooming. She is also animal first aid and CPR certified. She graduated in 2012 from Virginia Wesleyan University with a Bachelor’s degree in history and religious studies, and loves reading history books about the world wars and visiting museums. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling to new places with her best friend, going to concerts, or just enjoying the company of her three cats Skittles, Pop Tart, and Stump. Her two favorite dogs breeds to groom are Westies and Golden Retrievers.
